We are a local Saskatchewan company, operated since 2006, by a Registered Nurse, Lorna King, with 34 years nursing experience, as well as having had surgical weight loss procedures.
Lorna will guide you through your decision whether to have surgery and which procedure might be best for you, during your free, personal and confidential, consultation . Lorna had a lapband for 6 years and has had the Gastric Plication for l 1/2 years. She can use her professional expertise and personal experience to make your surgical weight loss experience, as easy as possible. She will prepare you for your surgery, guiding you through the process, step by step. Lorna will be there for you, when you return home, to help you on a one-to one basis as well as with the monthly support group meetings.
Lorna chose Dr. Lopez Corvala and his multi-disciplinary team in Tijuana, Mexico, for her own procedures, because of his extensive and impressive credentials, his multi-disciplinary team and affordable pricing. Hospital Angeles is a very beautiful and clean hospital, with all private rooms with private baths, and very professional staff.
All procedures include ground transportation from the San Diego airport to the Hospital Angeles and back, all pre-op tests, consultation with a psychologist and other specialists, the surgery, nursing care and medications, post-op tests, nutritional counseling from our bariatric physicians, one-to-one counseling with Lorna, and monthly support group meeting.
